Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how 38-0 ("we", "the site", "the game") handles information when you visit and play. 38-0 is a free browser game. We do not require an account, and we do not ask you to sign in.
Information we collect
Account data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or passwords through gameplay. There is no user registration.
Draft progress: Your current draft — selected players, round number, lineup, and related game state — is stored locally in your browser using session storage. This data stays on your device and is cleared when you restart the draft or close the browser session, depending on your browser settings.
Server logs: If the site is hosted on a standard web platform, basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) may be collected automatically by the hosting provider for security and performance. We do not use these logs to identify individual players beyond what the host provides.
Cookies and advertising
38-0 may use cookies or similar technologies if advertising or analytics services are enabled on the site. At present, the game itself does not set authentication cookies.
If third-party advertising (including Google AdSense) is added in the future, those partners may use cookies to serve ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud, subject to their own policies.
Google AdSense and third-party advertising
We may display third-party advertisements, including through Google AdSense, once approved and configured. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's partner sites policy. Users in applicable regions may manage ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings or industry opt-out tools where available.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics in the future to understand traffic and improve the game — for example, which pages are visited or how often drafts are completed. If analytics are enabled, this policy will be updated to name the provider and describe what is measured.
We do not currently sell personal information.
How information is used
Information is used only to:
- Run the draft game and preserve your in-progress session locally
- Maintain site security and fix bugs
- Display advertising, if enabled
- Improve content and gameplay based on aggregate usage patterns
Third-party links
This site may link to external pages (for example, policy documents or contact resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.
Children's privacy
38-0 is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
